1. Diễn mô tả một thói quen thuộc, một hành vi xẩy ra thông thường xuyên lặp chuồn tái diễn ở lúc này. Eg: He watches TV every night. 2. Diễn mô tả một chân lý, một thực sự phân minh. Eg: The sun rises in the East. 3. Diễn mô tả một chương trình đã có sẵn, thời khóa biểu, chương trình Eg: The plane leaves for London at 12.30 p.m. 4. Dùng sau những cụm kể từ chỉ thời hạn when, as soon as… và vô câu ĐK loại 1 Eg: I will đường dây nóng you as soon as I arrive.

1. Diễn mô tả một hành vi đang được xẩy ra bên trên lúc này. Eg: The children are playing football now. 2. Dùng theo đuổi sau câu ý kiến đề xuất, khẩu lệnh. Eg: Look! The child is crying. 3. Thì này còn được dùng làm thao diễn mô tả một hành vi chuẩn bị xẩy ra. Eg: He is coming tomorrow.

2. Cấu trúc

Hiện bên trên đơn (Present Simple Tense)	Hiện bên trên tiếp diễn (Present Continuous Tense)
	Một số động kể từ chỉ hành vi (action verb) như know, understand, v.v…hoặc thể hiện tại sự yêu thương ghét bỏ như love, lượt thích, hate, v.v…không người sử dụng ở thì lúc này tiếp nối.
S + always + V Ý nghĩa: Diễn mô tả những việc thông thường xuyên thực hiện, xẩy ra và hầu hết đem nghĩa xấu đi. Ex: He always goes vĩ đại school late.	S + always + V-ing Ý nghĩa: Diễn mô tả những việc xẩy ra liên tiếp với gia tốc cao hơn nữa thường thì và số đông đem nghĩa xấu đi. Ex: She is always forgetting her bag.
	Không dùng “have” ở thì lúc này tiếp nối với tức là chiếm hữu. Ex: Câu đúng: I have a luxury bag Câu sai: I am having a luxury bag.
To be selfish Ý nghĩa: Nói về phong thái hành xử của một người ngay lập tức khi cơ. Ex: He is selfish, through and through. (Cậu tao là cực kỳ ích kỷ, khi nào thì cũng như vậy) .	Tobe + being selfish Ý nghĩa: Nói về phong thái hành xử của một người ngay lập tức khi cơ. Ex: It’s surprising vĩ đại mạ that the boy is being sánh selfish. (Tôi sửng sốt vì như thế cậu nhỏ nhắn đang được hành xử quá ích kỷ) .
